Raynaud’s Association and IMD Health Global announce strategic partnerships to provide credible information resources on Raynaud’s phenomenon to care providers, their patients, and their families
January 25, 2022 – Redding, Connecticut, USA
The Raynaud’s Association is pleased to announce an important partnership with IMD Health Global (IMD), a CloudMD Software & Services company focused on health education, to provide their Raynaud’s phenomenon resources to healthcare providers, patients, and their families on the IMD platform.
“Our partnership with IMD Health helps us not only reach the large patient population that has an extremely low awareness of Raynaud’s as the source of their discomfort and pain, it also provides the opportunity to further educate the medical community on the condition,” said Lynn Wunderman, Chairman, Raynaud’s Association. “That’s important because there’s no formal test to diagnose Raynaud’s, patients don’t always go through the textbook symptoms, and other ailments have similar distinguishing triggers – so it’s often either misdiagnosed or missed completely. Even when properly identified, doctors have been known to dismiss Raynaud’s as a minor ailment and can be unaware of treatment options, so being able to educate both patients and the medical community through our relationship with IMD Health is an efficient way to reach both audiences. As lifestyle issues are key for Raynaud’s patients to live a more comfortable life, it’s an opportunity to connect with useful information to help them better take control of their condition in a trusting environment.”
IMD Health is one of the largest digital health educational platforms in North America. IMD offers innovative technology that facilitates meaningful dialogue between healthcare professionals and patients inside the examination room, hospital bedsides, pharmacy consultations, and during virtual consultations. IMD’s award-winning platform enables healthcare professionals to instantly access over 110,000 educational graphics, videos, and resources at the point of care.
“We are excited to collaborate with the Raynaud’s Association to provide clinicians, patients, and their families with trusted information that will increase awareness about Raynaud’s phenomenon and provide tools to help manage the condition,” said Blaise O’Malley, Medical Content Manager, IMD. These resources are particularly important to have available during the cold winter months, as this is when Raynaud’s patients tend to be most affected by the condition.
Through use of IMD, a platform full of user-friendly and visually appealing resources, healthcare providers, their patients and families will gain a better understanding of Raynaud’s phenomenon.

Materials are vetted by a Medical Advisory Board of leading rheumatologists internationally known for their expertise in Raynaud’s research and treatment.
