November 11, 2021 – Toronto, Ontario
Autism Canada is pleased to announce an important partnership with IMD Health Global (IMD), a CloudMD Software & Services company focused on health education, to provide their autism resources to healthcare providers, patients and their families on the IMD platform.
“Autism Canada is excited to partner with IMD Health. The IMD platform will help provide greater access to resources for people living in Canada on the Autism Spectrum ” said Dominique Chabot, Family Support Manager, Autism Canada.
IMD Health is the largest digital health educational platform in Canada. IMD offers innovative technology that facilitates meaningful dialogue between healthcare professionals and patients inside the examination room, hospital bedsides, pharmacy consultations and during virtual consultations. IMD’s award-winning platform enables healthcare professionals to instantly access over 110,000 educational graphics, videos and resources at the point of care, across Canada.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Autism Canada in order to provide our clinicians, patients and their families with trusted information to improve their understanding of autism,” said Alice Haidau, Medical Content Manager, IMD, citing the need for accurate, reliable health information on autism, particularly given the shift toward digital tools incited by the pandemic and the use of the internet which often leads to misinformation.
Through a resource like IMD, full of user-friendly and visually appealing information, healthcare providers, their patients and families will gain a better understanding and management of autism in Canada.
