This allows healthcare professionals to quickly jump from drug to condition information and efficiently equip their patients with the information they need to take ownership of their treatment plan – from understanding the drugs they are taking as well as giving them tips and advice as to health and wellness steps they can take to improve their quality of life.
As part of our ongoing commitment to engage patients in taking ownership of their treatment journeys, iMD has partnered with the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) Canada, whose Medication Error Reporting site (mederror.ca) enables patients to report their medication errors or reactions.
When errors are reported and studied, safer ways to prescribe, package, or use medications can be suggested, and future errors may be prevented thanks to ISMP.
