We have very exciting news to share with you…
CloudMD has acquired iMD Health Global Corp.
We are excited to share with you that we have closed the transaction to be acquired by CloudMD! As I am sure many of you have witnessed the increasing focus around digital health solutions over the years, things certainly exploded once the pandemic arrived. We have spent the last few months evaluating the different opportunities to continue to expand the iMD solution across North America (and other geographies) and with several strategic routes to select from, we decided to partner with CloudMD!
Partnering with CloudMD was an easy decision given the immediate synergies across all verticals and because both teams share the same vision of providing holistic, patient-centered healthcare. Our platform will enable CloudMD to provide its entire network of 4,000 healthcare practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals, 500 clinics and almost 8 million patients across North America, with valuable educational resources on healthcare issues, treatments, and preventative solutions. Providing access to these additional resources is another way CloudMD demonstrates the importance of continuity of care and whole person care as it continues to disrupt traditional healthcare delivery.
The integration of iMD’s platform into CloudMD’s Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) software, Juno, enhances an industry leading EMR software, creating one of the only solutions that provides healthcare professionals direct access to additional educational resources for delivery to their patients from one platform. This integration provides Juno EMR with further significant competitive advantage over others in the market.
Being a part of the CloudMD team will also provide iMD with increased resources and capital for expansion, including further acquisitions of complimentary solutions. iMD will be able to leverage CloudMD’s network of clinics, as well as partnerships with pharmacy banners, insurance providers and enterprise corporations to continue our expansion.

I am very proud of what we have accomplished over the past 10 years! We launched the business at the same time Apple launched the iPad – just think how far digital has come, particularly in the healthcare setting! iMD Health is the largest, most used, most trusted health education platform in Canada. We have reached the following heights: 80,000 resource library, covering 2,100 medical topics, including a strategic partnership with Mayo Clinic. iMD is deployed with 3,800 physicians, 2,000 pharmacists, 150 hospitals, 140 infusion clinics and with several public portals and 7.5 million Canadians have access to iMD education. More than ever, iMD is helping clinicians and patients improve on their consultations (physical and virtual) and providing trusted information for patient review – avoiding the need for the patient to search the internet.
I would like to take this moment to thank my team and all of you receiving this memo. It has been an incredible, challenging, innovative, nimble journey for our first decade. We could not have done it without your support and belief that ‘digital health’ is going to be a major force into the future – well here we are!
