2018 was an exciting year for iMD Health, and we ended it on a high note by participating in Mediaplanet’s Patient Access and Empowerment campaign, published in the Toronto Star on December 22, 2018.
The goal of the campaign was to educate and empower patients to take control of their own healthcare, with a focus on the ability of digital health solutions to widen patient access to health information and resources.
This speaks to what iMD strives to do every day via the Patient Engagement Platform – a tool for healthcare professionals to use with their patients that makes providing medical information to patients as easy as clicking a mouse.
iMD’s library of over 50,000 health resources covering 1,800+ medical conditions and procedures includes professionally-vetted images, diagrams, videos and brochures from trusted Canadian health associations and Mayo Clinic. All resources can be securely emailed home with patients for later review.
